Company: Emotional Piggy Ltd. (“Emotional Piggy”, “we”, “us”)

1. Our commitment

Emotional Piggy is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone we work with — including employees, contractors, partners, clients, and users.

We aim to ensure that people are treated fairly and with dignity, and that opportunities and decisions are based on merit, role requirements, and business needs — not on personal characteristics.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:
- All employees, contractors, interns, and anyone working on behalf of Emotional Piggy
- Recruitment, onboarding, training, pay, progression, and day-to-day working practices
- Work-related events, meetings, and communications (online and offline)

3. Equal treatment and non-discrimination

We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying, or victimisation.

We are committed to fair treatment regardless of (including but not limited to): age, disability, gender identity or gender expression, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, caring responsibilities, or any other status protected under applicable law.

4. Inclusive working practices

We work to build an inclusive culture by:
- Using respectful, professional communication
- Encouraging different perspectives and constructive challenge
- Providing reasonable adjustments where appropriate (e.g., accessibility needs)
- Promoting flexible and supportive ways of working where possible

5. Recruitment and progression

We strive to make hiring and progression fair and inclusive by:
- Using role-relevant criteria and structured evaluation where practical
- Avoiding biased or exclusionary language in job descriptions
- Supporting equal access to opportunities for learning and development

Harassment, Reporting, Responsibilities

6. Harassment, bullying, and reporting concerns

Harassment or bullying of any kind is not acceptable.

Anyone who experiences or witnesses conduct that may breach this policy is encouraged to report it as early as possible. Reports will be handled seriously, sensitively, and, where possible, confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is not tolerated.

How to report:
Email: hello@emotionalpiggy.com
Subject line: “D&I Concern”
(If preferred, concerns can be raised to a company director directly.)

7. Supplier and partner expectations

We aim to work with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to respectful, fair, and inclusive practices. Where relevant, we may consider D&I as part of supplier selection and relationship management.

8. Responsibilities

All team members are responsible for treating others with respect and supporting an inclusive environment.

Leadership is responsible for promoting inclusive practices, responding to concerns appropriately, and reviewing this policy regularly.

9. Review

This policy will be reviewed at least annually, and updated when needed to reflect changes in our organisation, best practice, or legal requirements.
